Haleigh was born and raised in Woodstock, GA. She attended Etowah HS and graduated in 2009.
She recieved a scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and played 2009-2013. In her time at Carolina, she set the single game record fo home runs; 3 for 3 homeruns as a freshman. Matching that effort for a second time. In her sophmore season, she started all 55 games at first base and was named to the 2011 All-ACC first team- Leading the team with 12 home runs and 43 RBIs: both rank in the top 10 of single-season school history and Collected a .333 batting average with a team-best 13 multi-RBI games and 16 multi-hit efforts . Haleigh was named to the ACC All-Tournament Team her junior season as she led the team with 12 home runs, tying the second-highest total in the ACC . Collecting another 46 RBIs, ranking in the top 10 in single-season history at UNC at the time. Her 46 RBIs led the ACC and 11 doubles were the second highest in the ACC that year. In Haleigh’s final season, she set the UNC home run record with a solo shot in a win over James Madison, 43 total career homeuns. Had 41 RBIs, ending her career with 149, which ranks second in UNC history.
Haleigh was a Carolina Leadership Council Member and a team captain, who was nomincated to be in the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy.
After graduation, Haleigh moved back to Georgia and began her coaching endeavors. She was an assistant varsity coach at The Lovett School in Atlanta from 2013-2017. She also was a Volunteer Assistant for Georgia State University Softball for the 2016 season. She did this while building up her private lesson business. In winter of 2017 she found a home for any girls that wanted to get better and opened The Dugout on May 19, 2018.
