Empowering Tomorrow’s Warrior Women— On the Field and Off
Where young women become confident college-ready competitors, committed teammates, and lifelong learners.
At Dickey’s Dugout, we believe the game does more than build skills — it shapes character.
We’re more than a training facility — we’re a safe place for young women to rise, on their terms, through intentional softball training and unwavering support.
Our goal isn’t just to prepare athletes for the next level — it’s to ignite the confidence to lead, to compete, and to chase their best selves in every arena of life.
Whether it’s private lessons or our membership offerings, every experience is rooted in our core values:
Growth. Courage. Connection. So that we can lead your girls to play: Confident, Fearless and FREE
For Athletes, we offer real feedback, real growth, and the permission to be confident — every time you step in the cage and in the box.
For Parents, we offer guidance you can trust — built on clarity, partnership, and real development.

There are very few places that truly develop athletes.
At Dickey’s Dugout, we don’t chase quick fixes or cookie-cutter instruction.
We build athletes through clear pathways, consistent language, and an environment designed for long-term growth.
This means:
Athletes aren’t overwhelmed by conflicting coaching voices
Parents understand the why behind the training
Progress is intentional, measurable, and sustainable
We believe confidence comes from clarity — not pressure.
Private Lessons
Membership-Based Training
Position-Specific Academies
Each option is designed to support both skill development and athlete confidence — not just reps.
Holistic Development — We build skills and mindset so girls become confident players and resilient women. Haleigh has spent the last 12 years studying fear and human patterns. Her research is integrated into every component of our training programs.
Partnership With Parents — We equip families with clarity, tools, and communication so support and growth happens on and off the field.
Program Variety — From fundamentals to advanced training and catcher-specific development, we meet athletes where they are and push them forward with specialized instructors.
Community Culture — A place where athletes belong, parents are informed, and everyone is part of something bigger than personal stats and highlight reels.
How we partner with YOU:
Talent isn’t the problem. Effort isn’t the problem.
Most athletes don’t stall because they lack ability — they stall because they lack consistency, exposure, and mental clarity.
We see the same barriers again and again:
Inconsistent training with no long-term plan
Too many voices, too many cues, not enough clarity, not enough strong information
Skill work without mindset or game-day application
Athletes losing confidence before they have even taken ownership over their game
Parents unsure how to support without adding pressure
None of these are character flaws. They’re development gaps.
At Dickey’s Dugout, we don’t just train skills — we remove the obstacles holding athletes back.
Structured Development Paths
Clear progression plans so athletes always know what they’re working on and why.
Consistency Over Quick Fixes
Weekly training, accountability, and intentional repetition — because growth happens over time.
Unified Coaching Language
One voice, one philosophy, one standard — so athletes can trust the process with all of our coaches instead of second-guessing it.
Mindset + Skill Integration
Confidence, leadership, and self awareness are trained right alongside mechanics.
Parent Partnership
We help parents understand the process so support becomes a strength, not a stressor.
Athletes who train with confidence.
Parents who feel informed and supported.
Progress that’s visible, measurable, and sustainable.
That’s why process comes first.
And that’s why our athletes don’t just improve — they evolve.
Training a skill is powerful — training with consistency is transformational.
Athletes grow when the work is intentional. Parents see the difference when there’s structure, accountability, and a plan. If you’re ready to commit to the journey, not just the sessions, our Memberships are where real progress happens — building confidence, leadership, and long-term development.

Before I started going to Haleigh, I had little understanding of who I was or who I wanted to become. I lacked self-confidence, feared failure, and constantly doubted my potential. Changing hitting coaches felt like a leap of faith at the time, but it turned out to be a true turning point for me. That timid 8th grader who stepped into Dickey’s Dugout for the first time unknowingly made one of the best decisions of her life.
At my first lesson, I hit no more than ten balls before she sat me down on a bucket and we talked. Instead of jumping stright into my swing, Haleigh took the time to understand me as a person first. I had never felt so seen or valued. From that moment on, I knew that she could help me in ways no one else could, and I was fully bought in.
I met with Haleigh close to once a week from that day in 8th grade all the way till the day I graduated. Whether that be for a hitting lesson, mental training, or just lunch, she was there. Through her personally curated hitting lessons, I developed from a “contact hitter” to a powerful offensive threat. I grew stronger, became more in tune with my mechanics, and gained confident in my swing.
Through her mental training, I was pushed out of my comfort zone, forced to come face to face with my emotions, and taught how to communicate them to gain clarity. I developed a deeper understanding of how I functioned and what it would take to become the person/athlete I had envisioned. However, the greatest impact were the lunches. Haleigh is far more than a hitting instructor to me, she is a mentor, a best friend, a therapist, a hero, an inspiration, a leader, and a BADASS. No matter the time, place, or situation she is there for me. I would not be the athlete or the person that I am today without her guidance and the lessons she has taught me on and off the field. For that, I will be forever grateful.

Ava was struggling with her mechanics and confidence. So we were looking for instruction, but we also wanted a place where Ava could develop and gain confidence. From the first day Haleigh resonated with us because it felt intentional. It wasn’t just about skills; it was about helping Ava believe in herself, and for her to enjoy the process of getting better.
Physically, the improvement has been obvious; she’s grown exponentially as a hitter with increased confidence and consistency. However, I’m most grateful for the bigger change: the growth in her mentality and confidence. Ava handles challenges differently because now mistakes don’t spiral the same way, and there’s a stronger belief in her ability to compete.
As a former baseball player, I’ve been able to step back a bit more and trust the process. I try to support effort, mindset, and consistency.
There’s a sense of purpose and direction now. Training feels intentional, confidence feels earned, and Ava is in love with the game. We have complete trust in Haleigh’s methodology and the way she approaches development. Ava looks forward to every session, and we’re incredibly grateful for Haleigh’s role in shaping her journey.

Haleigh has impacted my life in ways far beyond the cages. From the beginning, she saw me as more than just an athlete, and that approach changed everything for me. She intentionally creates a space where every athlete feels supported, understood, and believed in, even in their toughest moments. Haleigh understands the game on a level I didn’t know existed. Her knowledge of the swing and the sport is truly unmatched, and that expertise is evident in the athletes she develops.
What makes her different, though, is her ability to connect the mental and physical sides of the game. She helped me realize that many of the struggles and fears I experienced on the field were rooted deeper, and she helped me break those down to become both a better athlete and a stronger person. Through her creativity and intentional coaching, she built my swing and my mindset from the ground up in a way that was uniquely tailored to me.
I believe relationships are the foundation of growth, and Haleigh truly embodies that belief. Her mission is to understand her athletes and coach each one individually to bring out their best. Throughout the recruiting process and some of the hardest seasons of my life, Haleigh was a steady and unwavering presence. She listened, encouraged, and advocated for me every step of the way. She taught me how to be fearless in my pursuit of excellence, play freely, and lead with confidence.
